3M Nexcare Acne Patch (Get Rid Of Pimples Quickly & Painlessly) | Review

Hands up if you're one of those who likes to pop pimples. I understand the feeling of satisfaction when you get all the pus out, but do you know popping zits can cause skin injury and may even lead to permanent scarring? If you didn't know, it's not too late to know it now. So instead of forcefully squeezing your pimples with your fingers, try 3M NEXCARE ACNE PATCH!

3M Nexcare Acne Patch is made of a special material called hydrocolloid that acts like a sponge to absorb the oily secretion, fluid or pus from pimple. The patch is waterproof yet breathable, and it acts as a layer of protection over the pimple to reduce hand contact and prevent infection.

It comes in different packages ranging from 7 patches to 44 patches, as well as in different sizes. It is also available in various shapes — round, square, heart and star.

The one I bought is in square-shaped and contains 44 pieces in assorted sizes — 8mm and 12mm.

How To Use:
Simply paste a patch onto your pimple after cleansing your face. Once the pimple heals (no swelling or pus; wound closed), you can stop using it.

TIPS: For better adhesion and absorption of the oily secretion and pus, make sure that your skin is dry when you use the patch.

Tried and Tested

I looooooove to use these patches on my pus-filled pimples, especially when I accidentally pop one — I will just stick a patch on the wound and let it works it's magic.

I like how it sucks out all the pus effortlessly and painlessly, reducing the size of my inflamed pimple overnight and how it keeps the wound clean and free from bacteria, preventing infection to my already-inflamed zit.

Note: When the patch becomes white, it is time to replace a new patch.

And I also like how it acts as a protective cover over the pimple/wound and stop my itchy fingers from picking, popping or scratching it; thereby preventing further damage to my skin that may lead to permanent scarring, as well as hastening recovery.

FYI, I have been using 3M Nexcare Acne Patch ever since Year 2011. Back then, I had really bad acne (find out more by reading "My Acne Story") and these patches played a major role in my acne healing journey.

I highly, highly, HIGHLY recommend 3M Nexcare Acne Patch to anyone who likes to pick and/or pop their pimples. It might be expensive, but trust me it's totally worth it. :)
